"It's Not Aidan" My Arse...
Pratt is nothing, if not consistant in his women hating.
Aidan acted liked an obsessed lunatic, refusing to let Tad talk to Kendall, lying about K being vulnerable, and Aidan saw that something was wrong with Aidan, but went to Zach and put the blame on KEndall...
I hate Pratt...
That was stupid, made no sense, and another line of dialog totally dissing women...
I want AMC to freaking tank big... .I really do... To hell with waiting until TK/AM leave...
Woman everywhere should just send ABC/AMC all their broken TV sets and say , "It's all the woman's fault:...
I hate this crap...

So far, I've read letters from fans that were printed in SOD and SOW, and editorials, which complain about the writing for Aidan. Fair enough.
When is someone going to complain about the writing for Kendall and the Slaters? Kendall is being painted as the town Jezebel when she's recommitted herself to Zach, but so far, Tad isn't buying it, Aidan doesn't want to accept it and thinks she can be a wanton woman if given just the right "inducement", and sadly, Zach's going to believe it, too. This story would still offend me if it weren't Aidan doing it, but if it were Michael Cambias or Billy Clyde Tuggle back from the dead. Worse yet, this is how Thorsten Kaye's and Alicia Minshew's last weeks on AMC together are being wasted--with Kendall perceived to be the local tramp.
There are so many grievances with this storyline, I can't list them all, but how AT is being used in this story is but one of many, and I'd like to see the other parts of Charles Pratt's "brilliant" storyline torn apart in print. I hope my faith in SOD and SOW will be rewarded one day.

Everyone keeps saying stuff about Aidan's OCC behavior and what this is doing to his character, but what about what Pratt has done too Zach, KEndall, Zendall, but mainly Kendall...
It made my skin crawl that this is going to be all Kendall's fault or everyone will think it's all her fault because she's the woman...
Same thing happened with KWAK/David..
David was drugging her, had sex with her, but she was the one who was called the [censored]....
David manipulated Amanda into having sex with him... She was crying, didn't want to do it, but she did...
Pratt is writing her as stupid, pathetic, and sex will be the cure all... Same with every woman on the show..
I sick too death of this and that's why I'm telling everyone to stop watching, write, call them out....
I'm mad as hell what this vile, no talent hack is doing to AMC, but even madder what he's doing to the women on the show...

I just looked at the ratings. Its odd that AMC beat out GH & OLTL. I don't get it, but it looks as if some people like this show.

Maybe they're just tuning in to see what all the controversy is about. It certainly can't be the storylines that attracts them.

I think the bump in ratings is in spite of Pratt, not because of Pratt.
What has bumped the ratings IMO is that the storyline for Zach and Kendall has taken center stage - no matter how awful it is - and people watch AM and TK, as they have a very dedicated following.
While in the past I have always watched AMC no matter who was on, under Pratt I don't watch the show at all unless Zach and Kendall are on.
I am watching for the actors period.

Isn't technology wonderful? You can tape the show and that great little fast forward button eliminates all the distasteful scenes - which lately has shortened my viewing time considerably. I agree that the Zach/Kendall storyline, however bad the turn it's taking, is the only worthwhile part of the show lately. Let's be optimistic about what's ahead.

I lost my ability to be optimistic about anything Pratt is doing right after BOB/Reeks/Ryass and the day his Turbo showed up...
How can we be optimistic when it just seems like he's going to continue with this downward spiral...
Fake Liza is now back in Zen's s/l.... What fresh hell will Pratt put us through with this, just too give his hard on some screen time...
I have no optimism... Pratt destroyed that..
Just counting the days until TK/AM leave this sinking ship...
Sorry, for being a bummer, but that is what Pratt has done...

I don't think anyone is feeling any optimism with regards to what will happen during the rest of Pratt's scripts.
The optimism comes from when he is gone.....not that I am feeling really optimistic but I feel there is a chance however slight to fix this show, whereas under Pratt there was NO chance at all.

Thank you, Kathy. You got my meaning. There can be no optimism regarding Pratt's remaining scripts, which are probably already in the can. But, I am optimistic that TPTB will put in a writer who will be true to the show's history and turn these stories around. There's no point in saying the damange can't be undone. We've had enough gloom and doom. That kind of thinking is what caused people to jump out of windows during the depression. Things did get better. We can only hope for better scripts going forward.
