For me, personally, the whole birthday party storyline was anticlimactic. I watched the entire week leading up to Friday's show, thinking, "this is going to be good"; but when I watched Friday's show I was disappointed. JMO.
The storyline moved along slowly for the better part of a year; then suddenly they move us so fast into and out of the story, we are left wondering "what"? I'm hoping the coming Spencer/Cassadine feud starts up quickly.

She's going to try, but Michael will give her a big surprise!  I admit I love the irony of Michael putting her lights out.
On another note, I hope the next time (incl. Jonathan Jackson) the show brings back a beloved actor from the past either in the form of a new character or a reprisal, that they take the time to think the story through before they write it so they don't write the character into a corner with no way out. Let Sarah Brown & Natalia Livingston's returns be a lesson on what not to do. We want our faves back on the show, but not if they're going to be given lousy storylines that can only go so far. These 2 returns have been a slap in the face to both actresses.

Watching JJ as a cop today was painful. Looked he was playing cops-n-robbers! I was waiting for JJ to slip on a plastic sherriff badge!...LOL
I would have loved it if Carly was the one to put the lights out on Claudia. Mama bear killing for her cubs, AND Carly #4 killing Carly #1...Now THAt would be delicious irony!

I don't think Olivia will break up with Johnny unless he starts treating her badly, and even then I'm not sure. Olivia always tries to see the best in the mobsters - Sonny, Johnny, etc.
