At the very least I hope they make JJ cut his hair and shave off what little scraggly facial hair he has in the photo posted in the news section. The more I think about this the less I like it. I have watched each actor in the role of Lucky, and while JJ may have been my favorite, it doesn't mean I want to see him come back. I think GH is making a mistake here, especially if they hope that by bringing back JJ, fans are going to jump back on board the Liz& Lucky fan train! It won't be happening here! I think TPTB are missing out on the great chemistry between Gregg Vauhn and Natalia Livingston, and GV's Lucky was totally under-utilized on the police force.

Eww...you HAD to bring Ethan up....i just loathe that character.
With GV in the role, he looks more like Nikolas, and there could have been paternity questions around Lucky and Nikolas. Now, with Lilly-white JJ in the role...the chances are diminished, I say!
But, what are we gonna do??

Am I the only Ethan fan out here.? I like the character quite a bit. He has chemistry with just about everyone he has had a scene with. I love watching Ethan and Traci scenes. I also like that TPTB made him and LuLu get on so well. She could use a brother like him. I hear all this talk about John Jackson coming back to the role; I have not watched GH long enough to have seen his Lucky, I have only watched GV in the role. Don't get me wrong, I like GV, I don't know, though I might like seeing someone else play Lucky GV has seemed bored in the role for quite some time now; who knows, maybe it was because he was leaving anyway.

I won't go so far as to say I'm a fan of Ethan, but I have to admit that he's made a lot of progress as an actor. The veteren actors must've been giving him lessons. It also helps that they've finally cut out the creepy stalker stuff. Now, he's what he should be. Luke's mini-me. Fun loving con man. When they saw the initial fan reaction, they should have scrapped the whole Rebecca & Ethan story & gone with a totally different back story for both of them.
As for Jonathan Jackson coming back, I'm taking a wait & see approach. He's a fantastic actor, but if they keep writing the same junk for Lucky, it won't matter. They could bring in Leo DiCaprio & it wouldn't make a difference. They need to write better story for that character & STOP making him a WHINER!!!

I won't go so far as to say I'm a fan of Ethan either, but I was a fan of his shorter hair when he was first introduced in jail with Luke. Not all guys can rock the ponytail and he's not one that can! And while he had a great singing voice at karaoke, the ponytail was kind of distracting/detracting from a great performance.

I'm still not a fan, but I liked the way he inter-acts with the kids, I want him to cut his hair & talk clearer. He is the 1st Aussie I can't understand

I couldn't stand Ethan for a very very long time. I did like his karoake performance though. And now with him and Lulu hanging out, he's kind of starting to grow on me.....somewhat. I guess he has potential?

No. Just so disappointed and not really caring about my shows anymore. I really have lost interest. I hate to say it but I have. I don't care what happens because all my favorites either get fired or the show stops writing for that character. I really am disappointed that they let Greg go, it is so silly. Why not make Jonathan a character that reminds everyone of Lucky, that is what they did with Claudia. We all know she played Carly but it worked. Why get rid of a guy who was a team player and did everything asked of him? What a shame.
